This is such a wonderful (non federally marked) holiday that celebrates the resilience of cannabis throughout the years. It originally came about according to Chris Conrad, curator of the Oaksterdam Cannabis Museum in Oakland, California, says 420 started as a secret code among a group of friends at San Rafael High School in the early 1970s who called themselves "the Waldos." They would often meet at 4:20 p.m. to get high. How fun is that!

It has since becoming a worldwide phenomenon where like minded people celebrate such a life changing plant by getting together with their favorite people to consume in various ways their favorite strain. This can include h**p and ma*****na because they are all under the same umbrella, cannabis!

Fibromyalgia is one of the most common bone and muscle disorders, and is characterized by pain in the joints and muscles throughout the body. The two most common eating disorders are anorexia and obesity.

Anorexia, in short, is caused by one not consuming enough food on a regular basis. It is also caused by consuming too much food, purging it then excessively exercising to rid their body of the calories consumed. This is not to be confused with bulimia. Obesity is caused by leading a sedentary lifestyle and consuming more calories than recommended for a person's body weight and height. This is not to be confused with training (adjusting your caloric intake to match the needs of your given routine).

Research has shown that there is a correlation between anorexia and an imbalance in the endocannabinoid system. Because CBD directly relates to the ECS this can help people with anorexia without the psychoactive effects much like THC would.

With obesity CBD has been shown to help by working with the brown fat in our bodies (the fat that allows us to burn calories rather than storing them in the body). CBD assists in "creating" brown fat or replaces what is called the white fat (the calories stored on the body). Much more research needs to be done on this topic but that is why you see so many CBD companies promoting CBD as a "weight loss supplement".
