At Good Works Farm, our mission is to empower individuals who live with developmental disabilities. We believe everyone has good works to do, a purpose, they simply need the right supports.

Today, our intern, Hannah, got to meet everyone! Hannah is going to be helping with marketing and fundraising Jan-May. Her first order of business is headshots of our DSPs for our website! When she walked in, our farmer Bradley noticed right away how pretty she is 😍 and somehow Kurt had an action figure in his pocket that looked just like her! 🧍‍♀️She had everyone's attention and loved every second of it! 🙂

Nick gave a fantastic weather presentation then answered our millions of questions!! Thank you, Nick, for being so kind and gracious, and for the great information!!

This , we were asked, as a Board, to share why WE support Good Works Farm. As a co-founder, it might not be why you think.
Yes, I set out to create a community of support around my autistic son. Looking back, the focus was on support, meaning services. I needed Good Works Farm to provide the services I wanted for him and his friends. And it does! Good Works Farm is one of the most unique programs around, with a blend of farm and community-based activities, vocational activities, and variety to create a meaningful life.
But perhaps the most important part of that sentence isn't "support", it's "community". We ALL long to find a place we fit in, our community. This is Sam's community. But this is also mine and my husband's community. When I say Good Works Farm is a family it's not a cliche'. We truly are a family. And that's why I support Good Works Farm.
As our community grows and we engage in plans for our own building and housing in the future, we ask that you consider making a one-time donation or joining our Grower's Guild with a small recurring donation, and join our family. There's room for everyone at this table!
Our year-end giving campaign will run through Dec. 31. Thank you!!
