A legacy of love, stitched across three generations. My mother, Delores, continued this tradition —choosing a name from the Angel Tree and hand-making a doll so that no child would feel forgotten. Her mother, my grandmother, was a seamstress, and that gift of creating with love was passed down through our hands. I began making dolls at age 32, continuing the same purpose:
to offer comfort, joy, and the feeling of being held. Each doll is handcrafted — some taking up to 21 hours to make. Every stitch carries story. And today, this legacy also gives back:

💛 $50 from every doll sold is donated to Helping At Risk Kids (HARK)
to support children and youth in Buncombe County. The dolls are made to hug. They are comfort you can hold. They are love that continues. They are home in the shape of a doll.

Hey friends.... This is the only time of the year I ask for help with DeeWill's Orphans..... I can't do this alone anymore, after 3 generations of doll makers.... Sadly giving them away I may not be able to do any longer as the cost is high for me to continue to do this alone...... You can help make a difference so I can continue to give them away and perhaps sale some as well to off set the thousands I spend yearly.... All or any help is appreciated.... Hugs You are Love. DeeWill’s Orphans

DeeWill’s Orphans are crochet yarn dolls, individually created with thought and care into their unique design and fashionably colorful outfits. DeeWill’s Orphans handmade dolls help with a variety of therapy needs along with teaching.

DeeWill’s Orphan are 100% washable & can be dried, cotton or acrylic yarn (no wool I’m highly allergic to it). These dolls are to help with therapeutic needs, learn colors, aid in one’s imagination, teach to dress, tie knots, ribbons, bows while encouraging one to have lots of fun. While taking one’s mind off their individual trouble focusing on fun and health.

All DeeWill’s Orphans for sale will be listed at https://www.etsy.com/shop/yuoz. Thank you for sharing and your support. Dolls can be designed to have a similar look to a individual when required. These dolls cost $75 - $100 depending on the doll’s requested requirements. All other dolls not specifically requested cost $50 + shipping.

Your purchase helps me give 30-50% of all dolls I make to kids in n like page (so I can find you if chosen). When the individual doll giveaway is announced: in the comment section write the word (ENTER). Note - Like is not considered an entry for the doll give away and is a way for those to show like.
