"I have a beautiful independent living apartment on a beautiful campus with security and great services. The staff is excellent including management, food service, housekeeping, maintenance and activities. There are so many options for activities to choose what interests you most. Lisha has been serving residents at Ohio Living Rockynol for 41 years. She has worked in multiple positions in the culinary department and is currently a cook.

“A friend encouraged me to put my application in at Rockynol,” said Lisha. “I’ve been a cook for many years now.”

Lisha says the residents, supervisors and team members bring her joy and fulfillment. “I enjoy meeting new people and residents and learning about their families. I enjoy laughing with them, serving them food and seeing my co-workers.”

She also enjoys the benefits of the job. “I like to make money and make the residents laugh,” said Lisha. “I appreciate the job I get to do for them every day.”

Lisa’s advice for someone starting in her position: “be patient and learn all you can to do your best.”
