This Saturday, December 13th at 11 AM, we will gather at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery to honor those who served our nation with the Wreaths Across America ceremony.

As the wreaths arrived here yesterday at Missouri Veterans Cemetery - Fort Leonard Wood, 25350 Route H in Waynesville, my heart was full of gratitude. To the incredible truck drivers from Wilson Trucking who transported these symbols of remembrance across miles of highway—thank you for ensuring each wreath arrived safely so we can honor our veterans with dignity. To every volunteer who will help place wreaths on the graves of our heroes, your dedication means everything. And to the staff at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery who work tirelessly year-round to maintain this sacred ground—your service to those who served is deeply appreciated.

This ceremony is more than an event. It's a promise that we will not forget. It's a moment when our community comes together to say their names, to remember their sacrifice, and to ensure that no veteran is forgotten during the holidays.

If you're able to join us Saturday morning, we'd love to see you there. Let's honor our veterans together.

With deep gratitude,
Jax Welborn - AAMVC President

The AAMVC participated in the Veterans Day Parade this year. Here is President Jax Welborn handing out flags to bystanders near the end of the parade. Her husband Assistant Treasurer Derek Welborn drove the decorated truck while Jax threw out candy earlier in the parade.
