Shaun aka “Daddy” went to Gatlin’s school to have lunch with him today! We truly believe nutrition is foundational healthcare.

Today’s elementary school lunch consisted of pizza, yogurt, a cookie, chips, cheese and chocolate milk…this highlights an ongoing concern around adequate protein intake in children.

From firsthand experience, we’ve seen how consistently carbohydrate-heavy meals can contribute to unwanted weight gain and impact a child’s ability to focus and learn. This has been something we’ve navigated personally with Gatlin.

We understand the limitations schools face, and this isn’t about placing blame. Our question is: what resources, education, or community support would help schools provide more balanced, protein-inclusive meals?

This is a conversation worth having for our kids’ health now and long term. What can we do?

Shaun and I are so excited to be able to share this journey with you and be able to give back to our community in a way that has been overlooked for quite some time.

Who is Shaun?
First and foremost, he is my husband, my best friend and the daddy to our son Gatlin aka "our" Junior Partner!
Shaun is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with advanced training through the School of Applied Functional Medicine (SAFM). But beyond the credentials, what makes Shaun different... his compassion, attention to detail and the ability to see each individual patient.
After years in the traditional medicine and the COVID pandemic are eyes we're open to something we can't ever unsee.
Both Shaun and I saw too many people fall through the cracks, handed prescriptions but never answers, loose lifetime careers because they chose to stand up to big pharma.
His own health journey and deep passion for performance and preventative care pushed him to seek out a better way.
Functional medicine gave him the tools. Now he's using them to uncover the why behind fatigue, gut issues, hormone imbalance, and chronic symptoms that steal your quality of life.
We believe healing should be personalized, proactive and rooted in science.
