At tomorrow evening’s Christmas concert, the Weatherford Band Fan Club will be selling raffle tickets to enter a drawing for some amazing prizes! See all the details in the pictures.

*The raffle is open to adults 18+ only, drawing will be toward the end of the concert and you can collect your prize on your way out! We can take cash, card or PayPal.

Congrats to all our FRB students who made a Region 30 band this year. The clinic and concert will be in mid-January. 3 students also advanced to the area level audition as well!

Congrats to these Fightin’ Roo Band Percussion students advancing to phase 2 of the all region band process. They along with the non-phased instruments and freshman will compete for spots in the Region 30 bands on Saturday Dec. 13.

Our Christmas concert is just over a week away, December 16th 6:30pm and we’re
putting together some amazing fundraiser raffle baskets to help support our band students!

Huge thank-you to Session Zero and Pic Coffee Roasters for already donating items for our fundraiser. Their support means so much to our program and our kids!

We’re still adding to the baskets, and there’s plenty of time for local businesses to get involved. If you’d like to donate an item, service, gift certificate, or product, we would love to feature your business in our promotions leading up to the concert and during the event. Happy Thanksgiving! The second round of merch store orders are in, we will have them at the school during concert wear fitting on Monday 12/1. We hope everyone has had a wonderful break 🦃🥧

On Monday, 12/1 from 4-6 we will begin fitting our concert attire. Upper classmen, you should already have a tuxedo/dress from last year unless you mistakenly returned it last spring, so this is for those who don’t have a dress/tux already, i.e.: Freshman, Transfer students OR any of you who need a different size. It’s very important to attend this fitting if you need concert wear, as alterations may need to be made before the first concert.
⭐️If you already have your concert wear, please make sure you try it on before Monday to ensure it still fits.⭐️
Parents: if you would like to volunteer for tux/dress fitting, please sign up at the link below. Concert fitting is not quite as busy as marching uniform day, so don’t be shy! We need at least 5 people, more if possible.
*We are aware that the band room is being used on Monday for Roo Expo, however we really cannot change the date. We will have students waiting in the hall to keep the noise down*

🚨🚨🚨Hello band families, I’m coming to you one more time asking for your help tonight. From our concessions chairperson, Misty Browining:

“I would like to thank everyone who has helped with the concession stand this season. The concession stand is a fundraiser for our band kids and the directors and kids appreciate the parents who help. Tonight is our last game so if you are at the game, please come down and help out. This game is short handed on volunteers and we will need help until the 3rd quarter. Thank you.”
