We all have those postures that feel extra challenging, no matter how many times we’ve practiced them.
Maybe it’s holding strong in Awkward Pose while your thighs start to burn, balancing in Standing Bow as the body wobbles, or settling into Rabbit when the stretch asks you to stay longer than feels comfortable.
When discomfort shows up, notice the urge to tense or rush out. Then gently soften the face, steady the breath, and give yourself one more slow inhale and one more patient exhale.
Sometimes the real practice isn’t the pose at all. It is learning how to stay kind to yourself inside the challenge.
Breathing through those moments reminds the nervous system that you are safe, even in intensity. With each calm breath, space opens. Strength builds. Clarity follows.
Stay present. Stay patient. Trust that every breath is quietly carrying you through.
