We need a paradigm shift back in SOME way!!
〽️Based on stats of videos, people stay engaged for an average of 2-5 seconds before scrolling. And the answer all the platforms have is to MAKE SHORTER CONTENT?
❌️NOPE!⏳️The answer needs to be to increase tolerance of having to wait a minute...PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE! THIS is why today's children can't tolerate boredom and partially why I don't enter experience boredom.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦If you are a parent of young children, 👀watch this! And watch ALL of it with an open mind and heart so you can consider how your babies' nervous systems can have the EXPERIENCES THEY TRULY NEED TO TRULY LEARN IMPORTANT LIFE LESSONS. You will also understand your parents better ❤️‍🩹
**GRANDPARENTS BEWARE! I literally cried hard watching this for the things of which my grandchildren have been robbed.
Determination CAN make a huge difference! Everyone told me there was no way I'd be able to stick to my "No gum or hard candy until age 5" rule with my kids and I did. People may have snuck some behind my back, but I never gave them any or knowingly allowed it, and I didn't care what other parents said about it because it was that important to me. They could have it when they had a better command of their balance and their airways and had more common sense. Period.

Talking to a 📅📈life coach, 💇‍♀️hair stylist, 🍸🍺bartender, 🐶your dog, 👨‍🎨art teacher, 💉acupuncturist, 🧘‍♀️yoga instructor, 🔮Reiki practitioner, 💆‍♂️massage therapist, any therapist that is NOT in the role of clinical mental health or psychology/💊psychiatry in that moment, even a 🧮school counselor, is NOT getting mental health 🛋therapy and MORE IMPORTANTLY, IF YOU ARE IN THOSE ROLES, 🙅‍♀️STOP TELLING THE WORLD YOU PROVIDE THERAPY IN THOSE ROLES OR THAT YOU ARE A THERAPIST IN THOSE ROLES (unless you are the dog. Dogs can continue to do so)!!! I said what I said. 🎤

Maybe it's a lesson in patience? Endurance? Grace? Coping with not knowing? That you can do really hard things? I bet if you look for the lesson in the moment, your perspective of the moment will shift in such a way that it becomes more doable, even if it's still very painful.

We are in need of practice. Amongst the themes that we are learning in our life is the importance of allowing ourselves to feel hurt. To name it and mobilize the empowered courage needed to communicate it. However, there is another place we must look that will enable us to illuminate how hurt arose....
