✨ One Pose to Release Tension from Holiday Errands ✨
Running from store to store, carrying bags, sitting in the car, checking lists twice—holiday errands can leave your body feeling tight, tired, and overstimulated.
This simple pose helps release built-up tension in the shoulders,neck,hips,low back and encourages deeper breathing, and gives your nervous system a moment to reset. You don’t need a mat, fancy props, or a full workout—just a few intentional breaths and a little space for yourself.
🧘♀️ Try it:
• Pose: constructive rest with legs up
• Hold for: as long as you have time for! (Minimum of 2 minutes!)
• Focus on: Relax the space between your eyebrows, bring space between your teeth, and relax your jaw. Feel the back of your head, the back of your shoulders, your low back and hips, getting heavy and sinking into the floor, feel yourself held and supported by the ground and chair beneath you, appreciate literally taking a “load off” your feet. Let your attention settle on your breath, focusing on the rise and fall coming deep into your belly.
