I recently had a great experience with a local business named Dramatic Evolution Studios at the Shops on West Ridge in Greece, NY that I have to share!!
Dramatic Evolution Studios is focused on creating, restoring and selling fine furniture, art and antiques. I shopped with them and found a beautifully refinished vintage waterfall buffet circa 1920 with original tortoise shell hardware that had been "Upscaled" in Dixie Belle Peacock Chalk Mineral Paint. I LOVE THIS PIECE!!
The owners Jen & Rich Chapman are truly talented at what they do and were absolutely wonderful to deal with :) So much character and craftsmanship. Jen and Rich found a way to give new life and perspective to this vintage piece!
Eventually, I plan to convert this buffet into a bathroom vanity, finished with a copper vessel sink. For the conversion, Jen & Rich also suggested a product by Dixie Belle called Gator Hide which is a super tough polyacrylic clear coat that repels water, great for protecting wooden tabletops and cabinets. I will post pictures when the vanity is complete. I cannot wait to enjoy this gorgeous, functional focal piece in my home everyday :)
In addition to their beautiful one of a kind creations. Dramatic Evolution Studios also reps Dixie Belle Paints. So if you have a project and you want to do it yourself just contact them to supply the job or if you have a project and need a little help they would be glad to assist you with your vision: https://dramaticevolution.com/
