We joined forces with hundreds of community members this past Saturday to rally against heart disease and raise funds for the American Heart Association during the annual Heart Walk. The combined Clear Lake and Mainland team raised more than $7,000 leading up to the event!

Since the American Heart Association was founded in 1924, deaths from cardiovascular diseases have been cut in half. But heart disease still remains the leading cause of death in this country. We are proud to be supporting partners of the American Heart Association.

Our Friendswood 24/7 Emergency Room recently hosted national DEA Take Back Day in an effort to remove unused and expired medication from our community. The event was a success!

Every tiny heartbeat tells a mighty story. 💜

In fact, we recently celebrated the groundbreaking of our new expansion project. The new project will double the capacity of our Women's Services by adding a horizontal tower on the east side of our campus.

While is often misperceived as a women’s disease, 1 in 726 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, says Dr. Ali Mazloom, a radiation oncologist with HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress.

"Most men don't think they can develop breast cancer," Dr. Mazloom notes. "So, when they get a nodule on their breast or start having signs that can be attributed to breast cancer, like ni**le discharge, they ignore it."
