A 91-year-old woman, standing before a judge in a hospital gown and chains—not for greed, not for malice—but for love. After 65 years of marriage, her husband’s life depended on daily medication 💊. When insurance lapsed, a prescription that once cost little suddenly soared to nearly $1,000.
She watched the man she loved struggle to breathe 😔. Out of desperation and devotion, she made a choice no elder should ever have to make.
