Is Phase One/Early Treatment a scam?!? ⬇️⬇️⬇️

It’s not, as long as you know exactly WHY it’s chosen.

The truth is, not every child needs Phase I treatment, and we are very selective about who truly benefits from it versus who should simply be monitored in our Growth & Guidance Program. Early treatment can help prevent more serious problems with the teeth and bite, which is exactly why every child should see an orthodontist by age 7, EVEN IF all of the permanent teeth are NOT in yet. Sometimes the right move is to watch. Sometimes waiting too long means missing the best chance to help.

And yes, most kids who need Phase I will still need Phase II later when all of the permanent teeth are in. The goal is not always to avoid future treatment, but to make it easier, less complicated, and healthier when the time comes.

Unlike traditional braces, with Invisalign we start off with the perfect end goal (and what we want everything to look like) and then work BACKWARDS all the way to where your teeth are now to create every stage/week of tooth movement.

The set-up usually takes around 10 minutes to make perfect (sometimes more if it’s a more complex case) and the reason it takes this long is because Dr Cody is the board-certified orthodontist, not Invisalign.
