Brenda Gail Johnson, born on June 23, 1950, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, at her home. She was 75 years old.
Brenda was raised in Randolph County. She retired as a property manager for Princeton Towers in Birmingham, where her dedication and compassion touched many lives.
Brenda had a passion for traveling, baking, and she held a deep love for Alabama football, but nothing brought her more joy than her family. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Wade (Adam), and her granddaughters, Mattie and Colbie Wade, all of South Carolina, as well as Blakeley Thrasher (Jake) of Wellington. She is also survived by her sister, Sarah Vinson, of South Carolina.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Pearlee Higgins, and her brothers, Gerald and Cherl Higgins.
A graveside service will be held in her honor at Valley Grove Church, located at 278 CR-329, Wedowee, AL 36278, on October 25th at 1 PM. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate Brenda's life and the love she shared with all who knew her.
