Sacramento/Weed Volunteer Fire Department The Sac/Weed Volunteer Firefighters are dedicated to the protection of life and property in the rural areas of the Sacramento Mountains.

The Sacramento Mountain area is a beautiful evergreen forest with majestic views and a genuine treasure in our great state. The vast extent of this area is heavily wooded forest and wild fires remain a constant threat. It is the duty of the Sac/Weed Volunteer Fire Department (SWVFD) to providing the highest level of public safety for our community. We protect lives and property through Fire Suppression, Emergency Medical Services, Fire Prevention and Public Education. We ask for the community’s trust, and support as we venture forth building and protecting its interests.It is our most heartfelt desire, that you embrace our department as we commit to keeping you and your property safe.
