Our skilled staff and support personnel provide a wide range of nursing services and certified activity professionals to ensure the best delivery of care and quality of life – for the rest of your life. Serra Village has the ability to meet each individual at any level of care and transition smoothly to a new level when those needs change. As a complete Elder Care Community, we encompass Independent Living at Grandview Terrace, Serra Manor’s Assisted Living, 24-hour skilled and non-skilled care at the Weirton Geriatric Center, and specialized care at Golden Acres for those affected by Alzheimer’s and other memory impairments. Residents of our community are served with the understanding that each and every person is different, with specific needs and beliefs. This type of care requires much more than the medical approach would expect – for us it’s how the Legacy of Caring was built. The legacy of caring for adults began in 1970 at the Weirton Geriatric Center in Weirton, WV. Since then, other facilities and needed services were developed to accommodate adults and their loved ones.

Last Friday we held our Annual Spring Fling for our amazing staff! This year’s theme was Music & Karaoke 🎤🎶, and it did not disappoint. From great food , incredible singing 🎵, and fun prizes 🎁, it was a wonderful evening celebrating the team that works so hard every day for our residents. 💛

Weirton Geriatric Center had a wonderful time at our annual Breakfast with the Easter Bunny! 🐰🥞 Our residents, families, and visitors enjoyed a delicious breakfast, lots of laughs, and a special visit from the Easter Bunny. We had a wonderful time celebrating St. Patrick’s Day across our campus! ☘️ Our residents enjoyed festive Shamrock shakes, a traditional Irish dinner, and lots of laughs and fun throughout the day. The celebration was made even more special with great music by Chuck Lucas, who had everyone tapping their toes and singing along.

It was a lucky day filled with good food, good music, and even better company. We love celebrating holidays and making special memories with our residents!

🎄🎁Christmas time has been filled with joy, laughter, and togetherness at our assisted and independent living communities. Residents celebrated with a festive Christmas party, complete with a special visit from Santa🎅🏼 —presents in tow! Throughout the season, we enjoyed making crafts to decorate our spaces, lively musical entertainment, and heartfelt visits from carolers singing our favorite Christmas songs. We also shared a special night out, traveling to Clinton to enjoy their beautiful Christmas lights display followed by a delicious dinner together. From fun games to creating bird feeders to keep the birds we love watching fed through the winter, this holiday season has truly been filled with warmth, smiles, and festive cheer.🎄✨
