Confessions of the Executive Director:

This morning, I was praying. Deeply burdened, asking the Lord again for His provision for ETC in 2026. As I sat there, I noticed a stack of folded letters tied neatly with a bow, notes written at different times to remind me of God’s promises, given to me as a gift for times of need. I randomly pulled one out.

Before I opened it, something in my spirit paused and I felt a gentle sense: “No, not that one.” I placed it back, chose another, and opened it.

Here is what it said:

"I obligate Myself to provide for you. Move forward knowing that your Almighty, all-resourceful God can and will make a way for you. Trust Me in this. No need is too great." Genesis 22:11-14

I confess, I am a fast forgetter. Like those delivered from Egypt who quickly forgot the God who rescued them, I also find myself worrying far too soon after witnessing His faithfulness. Yet in quiet, sacred moments like this, the Lord reminds me: "I love you. I see you. I am your Provider."

If God has already used you to help answer some of these prayers for Evans Training Center, thank you. If He is preparing to use you in the days ahead, thank you. And most of all:

Thank You, Lord, for being our Provider.

I sent a word of encouragement to my grandkids this morning from Jeremiah 33:3. I didn’t remember the significance of the days date until about 8 o’clock. Sixteen years ago today , we took our first man into the program. One man, one houseman, one borrowed house, $600 dollar a month budget. I look around me today and realize the significance of Jeremiah 33:3. In 2003 I cried out to God to save my son. He answered and the next 23 years are Him showing me great and mighty things which I did not know. I look around me this morning and marvel. You never know what is connected to a prayer, who is connected to that prayer, all that He has in store for you. Our Father works the long plan He’s a good, good Father! Glory to God!

Celebrating with D5C yesterday - their 3 year anniversary! Jamison and Tommy reuniting after Jamison first met Tommy on a prayer walk back in 2024 - Jamison sharing he doesn't remember the exact words, but he remembers Tommy praying for him! Celebrating a full circle moment for both. We place dots and God connects them!
