A huge thank you to the RSVP program for brightening our residents’ day with thoughtful Easter cards! 💌🐣

If you’re not familiar with RSVP, they are an incredible volunteer program that matches caring individuals with residents who may benefit from some extra one-on-one time. Their volunteers visit weekly, offering companionship, conversation, and meaningful connections from outside our facility—and it truly makes a difference.

🐰🌷 Easter Celebration Fun! 🌷🐰

Today was filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of Easter cheer! 💛

Our Activities Director, DeeDee, whipped up some delicious snacks for everyone to enjoy, while Heather, our Social Services Designee got our residents busy with a fun and creative craft. 🎨✨ And of course, our CNAs couldn’t resist joining in on the fun too — making the day even more special!

From great food to great company, it truly was a wonderful celebration. Moments like these remind us how grateful we are to spend such meaningful time together. 🐣💐

Another great visit at the Humane Society this morning! 🐾

We had the pleasure of spending time with Sadie, a sweet black lab mix who was an absolute angel with our residents. Her gentle nature, loving personality, and calm demeanor made her the perfect companion. 💕

Sadie is currently up for adoption and would make a wonderful friend—especially for someone looking for a loyal, comforting presence.

If you’re looking to add a little extra love to your life, Sadie just might be your girl! 🐶

Ever wondered where April Fools’ Day came from? 🤔🎉

The origins go way back to the 1500s! When Gregorian calendar reform shifted the start of the new year from late March/April to January 1st, not everyone caught on right away. Those who kept celebrating in April were playfully teased and called “April fools.”

Over time, this turned into a full day of jokes, pranks, and harmless fun that we still celebrate today! 😄

So if someone tries to trick you on April 1st… just remember, it’s tradition! 😉

Today we celebrated the first day of spring with some fun outdoor morning games! 🌸☀️

The sunshine, fresh air, and laughter made for the perfect start to the season. Our amazing CNAs kept everyone refreshed with the hydration cart, and of course brought plenty of smiles along with it! 😊

Today we celebrated Pi Day with a little fun and a lot of pie! 🥧 Our amazing therapy team treated our residents to some delicious pies and hosted a round of trivia that had everyone thinking, laughing, and enjoying the afternoon together.

It was such a sweet way to spend time as a community. Thank you to our wonderful therapy team for always finding fun and creative ways to make our residents’ days extra special!
