We were honored to welcome back Todd Burns, who returned to Wellington Regional to personally thank the EMS and healthcare teams who saved his life.

As an EMS professional himself, Todd recognized the signs of a heart emergency and sought help right away. A rapid EMS response and prompt STEMI activation ensured he received the life‑saving care he needed.

Todd is now doing well and was grateful to reunite with the EMS crew and hospital caregivers who played such an important role in his recovery. 💙🙌
