It's almost time to turn back our clocks! ⏰

Daylight Savings Time ends this Sunday, November 2. For most of us it means an extra hour of sleep but for a senior in your life, there could be other challenges to navigate.

We could not have picked a more beautiful day for this year's Walk to End Alzheimer's. Members from Avita of Wells and The Landing at S**o Bay came together for the York Beaches Alzheimer's Association, Maine Chapter Walk. We were joined by staff members, family members and even our fur-friends! Our youngest supporter in attendance at just 3 weeks old is the great grandson to one of our Avita Angels. He didn't want to be left out of the Avita has Hope T-shirt swag, so his family made him one of his own💜

On this beautiful summer day we gathered with friends and family and held our annual Butterfly Release Ceremony. It’s always humbling to see and welcome back the families as they honor and remember their loved ones who have passed. Today we remembered 21 of our Avita Angels who passed within this last year. It was evident today that they are still very loved and missed beyond measure 💜💜💜
