Have you ever heard of assisted stretching?

So, what is it?

Assisted stretching is a type of flexibility training in which a person is guided through a series of stretches by a trained professional.

This method involves applying external force to help the individual stretch beyond their active range of motion, targeting muscles and connective tissues more effectively.

Some key aspects of assisted stretching include:

- Guided movement - you don't have to do anything but relax!

- Deeper stretching - the professional will stretch you to the proper range of motion

- Increased range of motion - with proper stretching, you will gain an increased range of motion for you day to day movement.

- Reduced tension - with consistent, proper stretching, your body will let go of the tension it holds with tight muscles.

Assisted stretching is beneficial for athletes, individuals with limited mobility, or anyone seeking enhanced flexibility.
