Please join us in celebrating Dr. Neeta Soni, who is officially retiring after 30 years of service to this community.

Dr. Soni has been a pillar of compassionate, expert care in oncology, guiding countless families through some of life’s most challenging times. Her dedication to bringing quality oncology care close to home culminated in the Wilmot Cancer Institute partnership and the recent newly renovated oncology and infusion center right in Wellsville.

From all of us at the Jones, thank you, Dr. Soni, for your years of service, leadership, and care. Your legacy will continue to inspire us every day.

📣✨The Jones Memorial Hospital Urgent Care has recently earned Urgent Care Center Accreditation with the National Urgent Care Center Accreditation. The accreditation process is a voluntary process that ensures the JMH Urgent Care measures the quality and safety of its services and performance against nationally recognized standards. Accreditation provides assurance to our patients that the care provided at JMH Urgent Care is state of the art and that the established policies and procedures ensure exceptional business practices.

Ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony was a success this afternoon, marking the official opening of the Franklin C and Barbara E Boekell Medical Suite, which includes the Oncology, Infusion (part of Wilmot Cancer Institute)and General Surgery clinics on the third floor and also celebrated the opening of the new sleep lab on the second floor. Thank you to our amazing community for the continued support.

Yesterday was "Wear White Day" for Lung Cancer Awareness across the UR Medicine enterprise.

Lung Cancer by the numbers -
There are an estimated over 226K new cases of lung cancer in the US in 2025
Lung cancer caught in early stage increases chances of survival rate by 64%
Mortality reduction through screening is 25%

Today is National Rural Health Day and associates at Jones celebrated with a Health and Wellness Fair. Prizes for associates were given away every hour, thanks to our wellness committee!

These events are free to the community and are a great way to screen for health problems before they cause trouble! We are proud to offer these events through wellness initiatives. Thanks to all of our volunteers and staff for putting this on.
