Confluence Health, founded in 2013, is an affiliation between Central Washington Hospital and Wenatchee Valley Medical Center. We are an integrated healthcare delivery system that includes two hospitals, more than 40 medical specialties and primary care. Our Mission:

A Partnership that Removes Barriers to Cancer Care Across North Central Washington.

We’re deeply grateful to the American Cancer Society for their continued generosity and support of cancer patients across North Central Washington. With a new Transportation Grant, Confluence Health care teams are able to provide gas cards and help ease the burden of costly travel for lifesaving treatments. Every mile traveled and every barrier removed brings us closer to accessible cancer care for all. Through this remarkable partnership, philanthropy is making a real difference—demonstrating that reliable transportation is more than just a ride; it is a lifeline, a source of hope, and a pathway to better outcomes for those battling cancer in our community. There’s No Place Like Home
Behind every successful go live is our dedicated EPIC IT team. Last week, Confluence Health officially launched Dorothy, a new EPIC technology designed to strengthen home health and hospice care.

To mark the milestone, the EPIC IT team showed up united, creating red EPIC go live shirts and wearing red shoes as a visible sign of readiness, support, and commitment to our caregivers in the field.

This launch reflects a shared commitment between IT and clinical teams to deliver the right care, in the right place, at the right time. We’re proud of the collaboration, expertise, and heart that made the Dorothy go live possible, and grateful to our EPIC IT team for standing alongside caregivers every step of the way.

Congratulations to Joshua Frank, MD (Central Campus-Emergency Services) for being selected as our employee honoree for the 2026 REACH Awards presented by Confluence Health! These awards recognize our employees and providers who demonstrate dedication to our organization and represent the best that Confluence Health has to offer.

In nominating Dr. Frank, his co-workers said, "During a simultaneous inpatient Code Stroke and mass-casualty event in the Emergency Department, Dr. Frank showed exceptional leadership and commitment to patient care. With multiple patients needing MRI and only one scanner available, he stepped away from the busy ED to ensure the scanner was cleared for the stroke patient. He then personally checked on the patient to make sure the team had the support and resources it needed. His swift, decisive action enabled timely diagnostics and exemplified outstanding dedication in a high-pressure situation."

Today marks an important milestone for Confluence Health.

We’ve officially launched Dorothy and Comfort, a new Epic based platform that strengthens care coordination for patients receiving Home Health and Hospice Care across North Central Washington.

By bringing homebased care onto the same electronic health record used across our organization, we’re supporting more connected care, especially for patients and families in rural communities.

This work reflects the dedication of our Home Health and Hospice teams, project partners, and the ongoing support of the Confluence Health Foundation and generous community members who believe in compassionate, community-based care.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible as we take healthcare forward together.

🎭 Inspiring Young Minds Through the Arts!

Confluence Health is honored to be a sponsor of the 2025–2026 Every Kid at the PAC Season, helping expand access to arts education for youth across North Central Washington.

On February 24th, our Community Engagement Specialist, Eliza Zuniga, joined 100+ students for a special performance by the "Telegraph Quartet"—an afternoon filled with music, learning, and inspiration! Designed especially for students, this intimate concert offered a rare opportunity to connect personally with the musicians.

We’re proud to support programs like EKAP that help open doors for to cultural and educational opportunities for our community’s youth. 💙
