Today, we acknowledge and honor our veterans and give our thanks. My father served in the US Navy as a gunners mate during the final days of the Korean War. When I married my husband Brad, we moved to Alaska for his/our first US Navy duty station - Brad was a Cryptologist; his Brother first served as a Fire Control Technician in the Navy before advancing into the officer ranks, and his father served as a night fighter pilot in WWII in the Army Air Corps in the Philippines.

We understand what it's like to be from a military family, to serve our nation, and respect the oath all members take. To those of you who have served, we offer our gratitude. Peace.

At 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞, we believe true health begins with nutritious food. As healers, our mission extends beyond our clinic walls—to ensure our patients and our community have what they need to thrive.

With the federal shutdown, SNAP food benefits are ending—leaving more than 𝟒𝟎 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐬, including many of our 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐧𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐬, without essential grocery assistance just as the cold sets in.

Families. Elders. Children.

All facing the very real possibility of 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬.

Together, we can help.

We’re collecting non-perishable food items at our office to support local families in need and will be donated to local food banks on or around November 15th.
