Sal is what courage in motion looks like.
Born with Spina Bifida and navigating life in a wheelchair since age three, Sal has never let limits define him. Over the past nine years at Alatheia, we have watched him grow stronger, more confident, and more independent in his riding.
Today, Sal rides with his instructor Anna Bryant and therapy horse Marta with increasing independence and control. When he first came to Alatheia, he required full support. Now, he is able to guide Marta, give cues for direction and movement.
Sal leads by example, and we are so proud to be part of his story. Go Sal!

Today was a stellar day at Alatheia.

Levi, who recently completed our EAGALA Veterans and First Responders program, stepped into something new and powerful. He began his first day of EAGALA horsemanship on therapy horse Else Mae, the very horse who played such a pivotal role in his healing journey here.

There is something incredibly special about coming full circle like this. Growth you can feel. Trust you can see.

Even though we are not at the finish line yet and still need our community’s support, today feels like a big step forward. We are officially laying the base course for our paved road and parking at the new facility, and it is incredible to see this vision becoming reality. This is an exciting day!
