What’s the most important thing about a meditation?

IT’S SHOWING UP FOR YOURSELF!

❤️It does not have to be the picture perfect meditation…it’s what you need.
🩵It does not have to be 60 minutes long…it could be a few minutes.
💜You don’t have to stay still… you could be walking.

As I sit outside this morning, in the gorgeous spring air, I watched and heard spring coming alive, I want to remind you that being in awe of your surroundings can be a meditation. 🧘

There is just something beautiful about:
🦉listening to the birds,
🌳feeling the spring air on your face,
🐇seeing the animals move all around,
🌅watching the sunrise with the pink colors, painting the sky,
🌷the flowers blooming

💞Just be present with yourself💞

EVERYDAY….
Do at least one thing that makes you happy.
Don’t forget that your desires matter.
Don’t forget how nature can be so healing to our souls, so go out and experience the amazing world around us.
Stop & notice the beautiful and simple things.

Love yourself when it’s easy.
Love yourself when it’s hard.

I was reflecting on how easy it can be to love and care for ourselves in the moment where life is easy and flowing a little better. But we have to remember that we still need to love ourselves when life is hard. This actually is probably the more important piece.

When we are aware and acknowledge that…
life is hard,
we’re having a hard time,
we aren’t getting a break from the stress,
Our nervous system isn’t letting go…

we need to
STOP
BREATHE
REPEAT

Give yourself love, kindness, grace and a moment to find a little peace in your body.
If you do these things daily, it makes it a lot easier to reconnect and do these things when life is messy.

This shows that the kids are watching you take care of yourself.
They see and learn that it is so important to take care of our bodies.
They watch you do the yoga & exercises.
They see you stop and breathe or meditate to reset and ground.
They see you going for your massages & energy work.

Remember-
WHAT YOU PRACTICE GROWS STRONGER!
So, keep showing up for yourself because how amazing it is for children to learn & build the self care habits early.
They will learn to love themselves!

And of course, keep showing up for yourself because you deserve it!

I didn’t realize until after I stepped out of my nursing career how much I had neglected myself. I spent so much time, taking care of everyone else throughout my life and completely forgot about me. Since then, I have been unwinding my body & mind into a more centered, grounded & less chaotic space. It has been an incredible journey! I have met so many beautiful people and experienced so many amazing modalities that have helped heal and helped me grow. And I am so humbled to be able to bring my work to others to help them find the same grounded state.

These sound and vibration tools are life-changing! They help bring my body back home to itself, instead of being caught up in the world, the chaos, stress of life and the anxiety that used to fill my days. I am so grateful that I am able to bring this to others.

Here’s your reminder to take that breath and find something to lift you up. There’s beauty all around us. It’s the simple things that we sometimes need a reminder to see. ☀️

Katelyn booked a tour, without looking to see how far it was (big surprise 🤭 - it was a 2hr drive starting at 5a).  But…...

Katelyn booked a tour, without looking to see how far it was (big surprise 🤭 - it was a 2hr drive starting at 5a). But……. This swim with the Manatees was INCREDIBLE! They snuggled into us, played with Katelyn’s zipper, surrounded us many times & we saw so many! These 1-2 ton floating sea cows are just so majestic, docile and legally blind. They use the tiny hairs that cover their bodies to sense you up to 6ft away, so any contact they make with you is intentional 💞! So, that means that they loved the frequency of our vibrations (& we love that since we are here for a sound & vibration training 🙌).
And, yesterday, unexpectedly we spent the day at Myaka State Park, where we captured the alligators 🐊 and birds 🦜and trees 🌴 from afar. We just kept finding more things to absorb and explore.
Ironically we were only going to pick up her phone that her husband mailed to her and ended ended staying all day, getting sucked into the energy vortex (that is a fact & what drew us there).

We’re soaking up all the sun 🌞 and warmth while we can! Then off to our gong event tonight!

Stay tuned…
Katelyn and I are now in Florida for our next level of sound/vibration training 🫶
We are beyond excited for this class, but we are also very excited to have some time to unwind for ourselves. If you know us, you know that life can be SO busy and this takes a lot of planning to make this happen for both of us. AND, if you know Katelyn, you’ll enjoy the fact that she had everything organized at home for her 4 little kiddos, yet she left her phone at home 😬. (I’d say that’s a BIG a sign from the universe for her). She also left her sunglasses at home, so she purchased herself some gems 😎down here, so you can see those in the pics.

We do have to remind ourselves (frequently) to pause and to take care of ourselves too…
So this is where we will enjoy each others company, laugh, plan, lessons for our classes we are in, relax & actually be able to talk to each other (once were on the phone trying to plan some things out and one of Katelyn‘s kids said “Dawnielle you have been talking to my mom for 33 minutes.” 😂 And we had to explain to him that although we work together, we barely see each other and it can be a struggle to even get a text/phone conversation in because we are in completely different stages in our lives. Life definitely is a whirlwind sometimes!

So, stay tuned for more trip adventures and things to come in our practice. For now, I am going to go back to connecting to my surroundings… I already did my breath work and meditation, but I am going to sit here in this backyard oasis (gorgeous Airbnb) with my hot coffee and blanket on this gorgeous morning, listening to the birds 🦜and feeling the breeze 🌴..connecting to nature 💞. I’m also hoping I’ll see my cute lizard 🦎 friend that I found in my bedroom last night- he was the tiniest little guy, that we relocated back to the yard.

P.S. I am not missing the cold 🥶 or snow ⛄️
