I have many patients who have recently had to drop their health insurance due to increased premiums or who are looking for alternatives due to the very high cost. One alternative I have been discussing is Zion HealthShare. This is not "insurance" but provides many of the same benefits. This type of program couples really well with Direct Primary Care and Zion gives patients of a DPC an additional discount if you sign up through my office.
