Let’s give a HUGE shoutout to Henry Brakensiek, our November Youth Athlete of the Month! 🙌🔥

Henry joined us in September with a goal:
👉 Learn how to lift
👉 Build muscle
👉 Get stronger
👉 Build healthy routines
…and he has been crushing every single one of those goals from day one!

Henry is an absolute BLAST to coach — he learns fast, listens to cues like a pro, and his body was made to lift weights. I can demonstrate a movement, and he just nails it. 🤯💥

The November Fighters of the Month are Ruthie Headley & Maggie Matlock!
These two powerhouses have been training with Coach Kain and doing the FightFit classes for about 8 years — and their transformation is INSANE!! 🙌

Ruthie and Maggie have completely transformed their bodies and their mindsets through years of hard work, consistency, and dedication. They might not be stepping into the cage or ring — but if we ever need to put together a team for anything, you can bet these two are on it! 👊

🔥 ATHLETE OF THE MONTH SHOUTOUT🔥

Let’s give it up for Rico Mattos — our November Athlete of the Month here at The Relentless Barbell Club!! 👏💪

Like many people starting their journey, Rico came in with the mindset that he needed to eat less and avoid carbs to get results… but he decided to trust the process — ANNND the results speak for themselves.

In just ONE MONTH, Rico has:
💥 Lost 7.6 lbs
💥 Gained 2.4 lbs of muscle
💥 Dropped 3% body fat
💥 And done it all while eating more food than he has in a long time!! 🍽🔥

Rico trains hard — lifting twice a week and hitting our Wednesday mobility class — and it’s paying off big time. He is getting stronger in every movement and the improvement in his mobility is INCREDIBLE!!!!

He’s learned that meal prepping and planning are key to staying consistent and fueling his goals. When he started, he wasn’t eating enough to support his workouts — but now, he’s fueling himself and CRUSHING his goals!!!

💪Meryl puts in the work no matter what she is doing! She trains hard and has been working on keeping her nutrition dialed with ! 🍽️
💪 Her most recent camp and weight cut went very well and the results showed when she traveled to Canada to compete at the North American Century Cup and was able to secure a well-deserved WIN! 🥇
💪Meryl continues to raise the bar and inspire those around her, and now she’s setting her sights on her next tournament in Abu Dhabi! 🌍🔥

We are so proud of her and can’t wait to see her dominate on the next stage!

You don’t need to be 100% all the time — you just need to keep showing up.

Going all in only to burn out and go all out isn’t discipline… it’s exhaustion.

True progress comes from building a solid foundation — showing up for your workouts, fueling your body with enough protein and calories, staying mindful, and doing it all consistently.

Because being 80% consistent will always beat being 100% perfect for two weeks and then throwing in the towel just to start over later.

Missed a workout? Cool — move tomorrow.
Ate off plan? Fine — get right back to your normal meals.
Life happens. What matters is that you keep going.

When your foundation is strong, the little slips don’t break you — they just remind you how solid you’ve become.
