Lisa Tackett, M.A, Licensed Professional Counselor

Lisa was born in Missouri and raised in Chicago most of her life. As a young adult, she started her college education at the College of DuPage in Illinois and received her Associate's Degree in Arts. She continued her education at Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois and received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. At this time in her life, Lisa decided to move to Missouri and received her Master's Degree in Professional Counseling. Lisa was then licensed in the state of Missouri and began her private practice. Lisa has over 20 years of experience working extensively in hospitals, nursing homes, home health agencies, and mental/behavioral health facilities. Lisa is well versed in issues involving, sexual assault, domestic violence, mental illness, depression, stress, anxiety, burnout, body image, mental retardation, abuse, neglect, loss, grief, developmental delays, substance abuse, visual impairments and more with children, adolescents, teens, adults and elderly. Lisa LOVES God and People and wants to help as many individuals that she can to live a healthier life. She sees children, to teens, to adults and the elderly. She sees clients individually, families and couples.
