Holy Family Services is the longest licensed free-standing birth center in Texas! Founded in 1983 by four Catholic sisters, we strive to uphold their mission by continuing to provide safe and affordable family-centered maternity care to families in the Rio Grande Valley. Here at Holy Family, full-scope prenatal care, labor/delivery, water birth, postpartum and newborn care is provided by Certified-Nurse Midwives, in addition to general well-woman care and exams. Flexible payment plans are available. CASH, MEDICAID/CHIPS, AND MOST PRIVATE INSURANCES ACCEPTED! Even if we are "out-of-network" we can work with your insurance to make an exception for "in-network" care. Please call our office for more information.

🥚✨ Help Us bless kids with Thousands of Easter Eggs!

Holy Family Services, Inc - Birth Center is getting ready for our Annual Birthday Party, where we bring together the families and babies born at our birth center for a joyful community day. One of the highlights for the kids is our Easter egg hunt, and we need your help to make it magical! 💛

We’re collecting:
🐣 Plastic Easter eggs filled with non-melting candy
🎉 Cascarones (confetti eggs)

Every egg helps bring a smile to a child’s face and makes this celebration extra special for the families we serve.

If you’d like to help us spread some joy, please drop off donations at our office by Friday, March 20.

Holy Family Services, Inc - Birth Center is preparing for its 42nd annual birthday party, and we’re inviting our supporters to help us create something joyful for the families we serve 💛

We are currently collecting:

🎁 Bulk toys & prizes (slime, small toys, Five Below / Dollar Tree items)
🥚 Plastic eggs filled with non-melting treats
🧺 Easter baskets (any theme)
🥚 250 dozen cascarones (confetti eggs)

Deadline for toys, eggs, and baskets: March 25

We are also seeking:

🐐 Animal experience sponsor (or $300 toward securing one)
🎊 4 piñatas + candy
🎯 Chalupa game board
🏐 Volleyball net
🎨 Craft supplies for our craft station

Our Story

Holy Family Services is the longest licensed free-standing birth center in Texas! Founded in 1983 by four Catholic sisters, we strive to uphold their mission by continuing to provide safe and affordable family-centered maternity care to families in the Rio Grande Valley. Here at Holy Family, full-scope prenatal care, labor/delivery, water birth, postpartum and newborn care is provided by Certified-Nurse Midwives, in addition to general well-woman care and gynecologic exams.

We promote physiologic labor that is family-centered and prioritizes the mother-baby dyad. We encouraged freedom of movement with non - “tethered” labor, oral intake during labor, and minimize separation of the infant and mother after delivery.
