Pregnancy can change the body in ways that diet and exercise alone can’t fully correct.

In this mommy makeover, we combined a tummy tuck with liposuction to address two key concerns:

- Repairing and tightening stretched abdominal muscles

- Removing excess skin and stubborn fat to restore smoother contours

The result is a flatter, firmer abdomen, all achieved in one surgery and one recovery period. 👍🏽

If you’re considering an abdominoplasty and lipo, a consultation is the first step in understanding what’s appropriate for you. Link in bio to book.

Part 4 of this journey really reminded me of something simple: sometimes the best medicine is consistency. 💪🏽

In the U.S., we’re used to looking for quick fixes. A pill, a procedure, a fast solution. But stepping into a different approach to health made me slow down and appreciate how much progress can come from doing the basics really well, day after day.

Movement, mobility, recovery, and giving your body the time to respond all play a bigger role than we often realize.

As a surgeon, I spend a lot of time focused on procedures and outcomes. This experience gave me a chance to step back and think more about the habits that keep the body functioning well long before surgery ever becomes part of the conversation.

Thirty years in the OR will teach you a lot. It’ll also give you stories you couldn’t make up if you tried. So I’m finally sharing them.

Welcome to OR Confessions, where I pull back the curtain on some of the craziest things I’ve witnessed as a plastic surgeon.

Let’s just say… this series is going to be interesting. 🤐

Popping in this evening to share part 3 of my holistic medicine journey! Today, I’m sharing some of the experiences that shocked me the most during my stay. 👀

If you missed parts one and two, be sure to check those out to really understand why I wanted to try Ayurveda medicine.

I'm sure a few other professions can relate too... 🤣

As I get closer to 60, I started thinking differently about health. Not just how to treat problems, but how to stay ahead of them. 🤔

That’s what took me 10,000 miles to Kerala, India to explore Ayurvedic medicine. Not to replace modern medicine, but to understand what we might be missing when we only focus on prescriptions and procedures.

This experience has challenged me in ways I didn’t expect. Part 3 drops next Friday. Turn on notifications so you don’t miss it! 🔔

You’ve put in the work, stayed consistent, and spent more time thinking about this than you probably realize. At some point, the question becomes less “should I?” and more “when does this actually make sense?”

Early in the year is one of the smartest times to plan body contouring procedures. Recovery fits more comfortably into real life, healing happens before summer arrives, and you’re not trying to juggle results, restrictions, and heat all at once.

If you’ve been telling yourself “maybe later” for a few years now, consider this your sign to stop pushing it off. Planning now means enjoying the results when it actually counts — and stepping into summer feeling confident, not mid-recovery. Link in bio to schedule a consultation.

My winter break looked a little different this year…

I traveled over 10,000 miles to India to experience Ayurvedic medicine, a form of holistic healing that’s been practiced for thousands of years! 🌍

As an allopathic plastic surgeon, I went in curious. I came back with a lot to think about, a lot to share, and a whole new perspective on wellness, recovery, and how the body heals.

This is part one of a Friday series where I’ll be talking about what I learned, what surprised me, and how this experience compares to the medicine I practice every day.

And yes… you’ll notice I’m filming this in a t-shirt. That’s intentional. This trip was incredibly relaxing, grounding, and eye-opening, and I want these conversations to feel the same way. So get comfortable, unwind a little, and let’s learn about a type of medicine most people don’t hear much about.

New parts drop every Friday, so turn on post notifications so you don’t miss what’s coming next.

If you’re curious about my journey or even thinking about starting one of your own, send me a DM. I’m happy to share more.

Back bulges are one of the most frustrating areas — they’re stubborn, they don’t respond well to workouts, and they love to show up exactly where bras and fitted tops sit. 🙄

Liposuction allows us to target those pockets of fat and reshape the back and waistline, creating smoother lines and a more balanced, hourglass silhouette. ⌛

So many parents spend years taking care of everyone else, and somehow put themselves last every single time.

But here’s the truth: when you feel good, your family feels it too. Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish; it’s necessary. And there’s rarely a “perfect” moment… there’s just the moment you decide you’re worth it.

If you’ve been thinking about doing something for yourself, February is a great time to pause, ask questions, and get real answers. No pressure. No rushing. Just an honest conversation about what makes sense.

Your happiness matters, and we’re here when you’re ready to talk. Call 813-406-4448 to chat with our team.
