Stay tuned as Natalie Southward will be featured on the Authors Amplified Podcast 🎙️✨

In Episode 42, she shares the heart behind her book, Let’s Do Grief Together, and why grief was never meant to be carried alone. This conversation is a powerful reminder that our stories matter—and that when we speak them out loud, we create space for healing and connection.

If you’re an author, entrepreneur, or someone navigating loss, this episode is one you won’t want to miss. 💛

Consistency and discipline aren’t about punishment—they’re about self-respect.
It’s the quiet promise you keep to yourself, even on the days motivation is missing.
Showing up again and again is how trust with yourself is built.
Not perfection. Not pressure. Just commitment to your own growth.

Grief is not something we “get over.” It’s something we learn to walk through.

It asks us to be honest about what hurts, courageous enough to face it, and curious about what it might be revealing in us. Even in the heaviness, grief has a way of teaching us about love, connection, and what truly matters.

What if instead of rushing past grief, we allowed ourselves to gently walk through it?

Stay curious. Your story matters. 🤍

God doesn’t call you to just one thing — He often calls you to many. Each role shapes your character, deepens your faith, and teaches you to rely on Him in new ways.

If He entrusted you with the role, He will equip you with the grace to walk it out. You’re not divided — you’re developed.

My many God given roles:
Wife
Mom
Director
Clinical Supervisor
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Author
Daughter

and so many more

Last year, Natalie’s word was steady.

For Natalie, steady meant showing up when it was hard. Staying grounded. Building slowly. Choosing consistency over hype. It was about deep roots, quiet obedience, and trusting that small faithful steps still matter.

This year, the word is momentum.

Momentum means the steady steps are starting to move. It’s growth with intention. It’s doors opening because the foundation was laid. It’s courage paired with action. Not rushing — but moving. Not striving — but flowing in what God is already blessing.

Steady built the roots.
Momentum grows the reach.

One year taught endurance.
This year invites expansion. ✨

Grief has a way of settling into our shoulders, our thoughts, our daily routines. Sometimes we carry it so long that it starts to feel like part of who we are. But healing often begins with permission — permission to pause, to name what hurts, and to gently loosen our grip.

You don’t have to carry everything forever. 🤍

Reflection question:
What are you carrying that you would like to set down?

People-pleasing often begins as a survival skill: a way to stay safe, connected, or accepted. But over time, constantly prioritizing others can lead to burnout, resentment, and a loss of self. Healing means learning to notice your needs, honor your limits, and trust that you are still worthy of care even when you say no. When you begin pouring into yourself first, your relationships become even better and stronger.❤️

Who are you when others don’t need something from you? How can you fill your own cup?☕️

You are allowed to rest.
You are allowed to choose yourself.
You are allowed to take up space without earning it.
