What a fun night last night at the Adaptive Rec Friday Night Social Hour! It was a great night hanging with friends, karaoke, games, snacks and time in the gym! How cool!

Happy Friday! Today we used some of our very own seasonings to make our chicken fajitas for lunch today! We also had small groups today and worked on jobs in the building.
We played one of our favorite games in the gym too!

Today we were excited to complete our 8 week workshop with Pink Umbrella Theater Company! Our workshop ended with a showcase of our piece we created, “We Are RAD”! 💙

We Are RAD gave each participant the opportunity to share their voice about what makes them so very rad!

Happy Wednesday! Today we worked in our small groups. We love our small groups because we are able to work on lessons that are just right for us! One group today worked on numbers, another group did a fun map activity and another group started trying out a project we are hoping to do for Earth Day!

Happy Tuesday! Today we got to hang out with our WAWM Community Transition Services friends for a great day of hanging out, working on a project, enjoying lunch and watching a movie! We got to end our afternoon in the gym. How fun!

Happy Monday! Today we of course were very excited to play soccer for gym AND have been hard at work at finishing stuffing the eggs for the Egged event!

It’s World Down Syndrome Day! 💙💛
We celebrated on Thursday this week by wearing some of our most favorite crazy socks or our tie dye socks we made- but we were having so much fun that day we forgot to take a picture!
Today and everyday, we continue to embrace what makes each and everyone of us “rad”!

The theme for World Down Syndrome Day this year is “Together Against Loneliness“. At RAD, everyday we continue to make sure all of our participants know they are part of our community, that they matter and that they are RAD!

We hope you are celebrating today by wearing your craziest socks!!

Happy Friday!! We were busy this morning. We started brainstorming ideas of what we want to grow in our garden this year, and Juan Pablo helped take notes. Then we had a lesson reviewing our time telling skills! Vidya helped do some jobs in the office, Gabe and Juan Pablo went out in the rec center independently to work on their RAD Jobs. For lunch today, Jacob and Matt made cheeseburger sliders and fries.

Today Michelle, Joy and Lori went on an outing to the grocery store with staff Zach to get some items that we need for lunch and activities next week!
