February is Black History Month, a time to honor the contributions, resilience, and leadership of Black Americans.

We’re thankful to our Activities team for putting together this meaningful display highlighting Black scientists, inventors, and changemakers whose work continues to shape our world. As a nonprofit healthcare organization, our mission is rooted in dignity, compassion, and service to all. These are values we strive to live out every day through listening, learning, and respect.

We are proud to announce that VMP Healthcare & Community Living has been selected as a 2025 Green Bay Packers Foundation grant recipient!

This funding will support the creation of a multi-sensory room at Maplewood, our Skilled Nursing Facility and Rehabilitation Center, giving residents a welcoming place to relax, reset, and feel supported.

Our sincere thanks to the Green Bay Packers Foundation () for their generosity and commitment to strengthening communities across Wisconsin. This project would not be possible without their support.

💡 Making Sense Mondays: Understanding Senior Living and Healthcare Options

One of the most common questions families ask is how independent living and assisted living differ, and which one might be the right fit.

That is why we are launching Making Sense Mondays, a new educational series focused on understanding senior living and healthcare options.

Each Monday, we will break down topics like independent living, assisted living, memory care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and more in clear, easy-to-understand ways. Our goal is to help families and caregivers feel informed, confident, and supported as they navigate care decisions.
