💉 “Brotox” well… Dysport!!! 2 weeks post-treatment for this handsome fella! 😉 Goodbye static forehead lines (shown in last pic how they softened up already)!
💉 Dysport is a brand name for a type of botulinum toxin injection. When injected into specific muscles, Dysport blocks the nerve signals that cause muscle contractions, leading to a temporary relaxation of the targeted muscles. This results in a smoother & more youthful appearance of the skin in the treated area.
🏃♀️ Dynamic vs. Static lines: Dynamic lines are visible during facial expressions like laughing, smiling, or squinting. Static lines are lines that are present always, as they have been etched into the skin over time (untreated dynamic lines turn into static lines). Getting neurotoxin treatments “treat” dynamic lines & prevent static lines. If they are already present before treatment, they may soften afterwards or if deeper they may need further treatment to smooth.
✨Treatments & dosage are individually based & need to be completed every 3-4 months. Prevention is best! 🤩
⭐️ Dysport was used to still the targeted muscles to prevent & soften lines on the forehead (Frontalis) & between (Glabella, “11 lines”) & around the eyes (Crow’s feet area).
