💉 First-Time Dysport!!! 2 weeks post-treatment! Goodbye static forehead lines!

💉 Dysport is a brand name for a type of botulinum toxin injection. When injected into specific muscles, Dysport blocks the nerve signals that cause muscle contractions, leading to a temporary relaxation of the targeted muscles. This results in a smoother & more youthful appearance of the skin in the treated area.

🏃‍♀️ Dynamic vs. Static lines: Dynamic lines are visible during facial expressions like laughing, smiling, or squinting. Static lines are lines that are present always, as they have been etched into the skin over time (untreated dynamic lines turn into static lines). Getting neurotoxin treatments “treat” dynamic lines & prevent static lines. If they are already present before treatment, they may soften afterwards or if deeper they may need further treatment to smooth.

✨Treatments & dosage are individually based & need to be completed every 3-4 months. Prevention is best! 🤩

Lip Refresh! 🤩 👄

💉 Just a 1/2 syringe of classic was used to target the definition of the lips, focusing on symmetry while keeping them flatter to the face. 😘

💉 Bruising & swelling is normal & expected for up to 2 weeks. Ice & arnica may be used to combat this. (For more tips, look for my lip filler post-care post back on my IG grid!)

👄 At 2 weeks time any touch ups can be completed or more filler can be added. It is very important to make time for treatments & also their touch-ups before a big event! I say 6 weeks or more so you have enough time to heal! ❤️
