🧵 PDO Thread Lift Jawline/Neck! 🪡
🪡 For this gorgeous client, we used 4 PDO Max lifting threads, 2 strategically placed on each side of the face targeting the jowls & jawline to submental area, to lift & tighten the tissue & 2 more to target further down the neck.
🪡 A PDO thread lift is a minimally invasive procedure that helps tighten a person’s skin. W/out the need for big incisions, unlike most facelift procedures, PDO thread lifting uses small needles to insert fine threads under the skin. These PDO threads are especially designed to anchor the sagging skin & lift it upwards. The threads also stimulate collagen production, which further diminishes the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles.
🪡 Treatment with lifting threads is individualized. The number of threads will vary based on skin laxity, the amount of skin & its heaviness, along with the desired look/outcome.
🪡 Since a PDO thread lift is a minimally invasive procedure, the recovery time is quick. Most people who get this procedure done return to their normal activities after a day. Minor inflammation & bruising may occur in the first few days, but usually resolves after 2 weeks.
🪡 The PDO threads dissolve after 6-9 months, but their effects can last up to 2 years, thanks to the production of collagen. Thread boosts are desired as we always continue to age (or more often than not clients love the results so much, that they want to add more!).
