Today we gathered to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Jim Berk led us in a beautiful and meaningful service, helping us reflect on the year past and look ahead with hope. Residents shared in the tradition of eating apples dipped in honey, a sweet symbol of wishing each other joy, health, and happiness in the year ahead. 💛

🍎 Fall Fun at Franklin Cider Mill! 🍂

Our residents had a wonderful time during our outing to the Franklin Cider Mill! Everyone enjoyed the fresh apple cider and delicious apples — a true taste of Michigan fall. 🥤🍏

One of the highlights was the apple measuring display, where we all had a good laugh seeing who stood tallest among our group! 📏😄

Despite the warm temperatures, we are ready for fall here in West Bloomfield! 🍂 On Try It Tuesday, residents enjoyed an Apple Edition taste test, sampling different varieties and voting for their favorite. Then on Wednesday, our Baking Club got to work—residents peeled and sliced apples to create a delicious homemade apple cobbler. The sweet aroma of fall filled the community! 🍏🥧

What a relaxing and fun day it was! Our “crew” enjoyed wonderful massages thanks to Amara Hospice, while residents were treated to sparkling water, soothing hand massages, and refreshing face masks that had us all laughing together. 🧴💆‍♀️💆‍♂️ Nothing like a little pampering and a lot of smiles to keep our cruise sailing smoothly! 🚢💙
