Meet Jill Speckman, our Heart of the Community raffle winner!

We loved hearing what her nominator said about her…

‘Upon seeing the request for nominations to receive the Heart of the Community recognition by Lifelong Massage, I immediately thought of Jill Anne.

Jill will do everything possible to help dogs in desperate situations. From looking for lost dogs day and night to taking severely injured and neglected dogs into her small volunteer-based rescue, DELCO DAWGS.
She responds to urgent requests from local animal control officers and Philly ACCT to help dogs needing urgent care. Dogs that will likely die within hours without emergency medical treatment. When taking in any dog Jill commits to getting all humane treatment and procedures, short-term and long-term, that could possibly give the dog a chance at a good life.

Jill, together with her team of volunteers, fosters, and donors, have saved numerous dogs; dogs that are now loved family members. Her compassion, commitment and hands-on work is truly making a difference in the community and the lives of so many dogs.’

Ally and Ash spent the weekend learning some magic tricks to ‘change the brain’s mind about pain through compassionate touch.’ Huge thanks to the classroom full of people excited about learning, and to Nate Fay and his great TAs for bringing their enthusiasm for the work!

We’re excited to integrate these techniques into your sessions to help keep you moving well and feeling good!

We're all about giving back! One month every quarter, Ally and Ash will be donating a portion of their appointment revenue to amazing charities. For March, Ally will be giving to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and Ash will be giving to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. What causes are you passionate about? Our West Chester office had an adorable visitor on Saturday for our 2 practitioner CFT day! Say hello to Clementine, a resilient and courageous pup being fostered by Ash through DELCO DAWGS. Despite a difficult beginning, she has a promising future ahead, and you just might find her ‘lending a paw’ in the office in the next few weeks! 🍊💕
