The Crime Victims' Center of Chester County, Inc.

The Crime Victims' Center of Chester County, Inc. We provide free, confidential, and immediate support to people that have been affected by crime and violence in the Chester County community.

Our agency began in 1973, and since then we have helped thousands of victims in Chester County with immediate and continued help. The Crime Victims’ Center of Chester County, Inc. (CVC) is a private, community-based, non-profit 501(c)(3) comprehensive victim services agency. CVC is the designated provider of services to sexual violence victims for Chester County, however we serve victims of all types of crime including sexual abuse, domestic violence, homicide, identity theft, and more. CVC is committed to helping victims understand their rights and advocating, when necessary, to ensure that these rights are met. Our agency does not require you to report your victimization to Law Enforcement, however if you decide reporting is the best option for you, CVC will support you every step of the way. Family members, loved ones and witnesses are also eligible for our services.

Thank you so much West Chester Borough Police Department!! We are so grateful for our partnership and for.your support of our mission!

Some of our officers are proudly displaying facial hair this year to support Blue Beards for Charity. We’re all proud to support a great organization that raises funds to support great charities right here in Chester County. Chief Lee’s stubble hasn’t quite come in yet, but we’ll check back in on him in a few weeks to see what’s grown!

We posted last week, the week before that and the week before that, victims/survivors and our Non-Profit Community have waited long enough and unfortunately we are still waiting. While we are fortunate at CVC that the lack of a state budget is not currently impacting services - it is impacting many of the non-profit partners we rely on everyday. We will continue to post and be sharing as many of their stories as we can until the budget is passed.

100 Days and Counting...Pennsylvania nonprofits are still waiting for the state budget to pass — and time is running out. Every day of delay means that essential programs, which feed, house, and support families, are at risk. Communities depend on us, but we can’t do it alone. 📣 Join us in calling on state leaders to act now.
