The Crime Victims' Center of Chester County, Inc.

The Crime Victims' Center of Chester County, Inc. We provide free, confidential, and immediate support to people that have been affected by crime and violence in the Chester County community.

Our agency began in 1973, and since then we have helped thousands of victims in Chester County with immediate and continued help. The Crime Victims’ Center of Chester County, Inc. (CVC) is a private, community-based, non-profit 501(c)(3) comprehensive victim services agency. CVC is the designated provider of services to sexual violence victims for Chester County, however we serve victims of all types of crime including sexual abuse, domestic violence, homicide, identity theft, and more. CVC is committed to helping victims understand their rights and advocating, when necessary, to ensure that these rights are met. Our agency does not require you to report your victimization to Law Enforcement, however if you decide reporting is the best option for you, CVC will support you every step of the way. Family members, loved ones and witnesses are also eligible for our services.

The signs of human trafficking can look different in every situation. Possible indicators may include someone who appears fearful or controlled, lacks access to money or identification, or has limited ability to speak for themselves.

Seeing one sign alone doesn’t confirm trafficking, but recognizing patterns can help prompt care, concern, and connection to trusted resources.

Human trafficking does not require transportation across state lines or international borders. Many survivors are exploited in their own communities, homes, or workplaces.

Trafficking can be hidden in plain sight, making awareness and accurate information essential to prevention and early support.
