Did you know?
• Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood.
• A single blood donation can help save more than one life.
• The Red Cross collects and processes about 40 percent of the nation’s blood supply.
• One out of every 10 people admitted in a hospital needs blood.
• The blood type most often requested by hospitals is Type O.
• More than 1 million new people are diagnosed with cancer each year. Many of them will need blood, sometimes daily, during their treatment.
• A single car accident victim can require as many as 100 pints of blood.
• There is no substitute for blood. Healthy, generous donors are the only source of blood for patients in need.

Please consider visiting the West Chester Donor Center. Due to a lack luster donor event at the Lincoln Financial Field Saturday, December 1st...Blood and blood product is needed more than ever. Seems the Eagles Blood Donor success is directly linked to the Eagles playing success, so our numbers were not what we expected for the day. Visit our page and make an appointment to donate or even volunteer.

Wednesday and Thursday - 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm (whole blood)
Friday 7:30 am - 2:30 pm (platelet pheresis)
Saturday 7:30 am - 2:30 pm (whole blood & platelet pheresis)
Sunday 7:30 am - 2:30 pm (whole blood & platelet pheresis)
