Excellent Chester County resource for our LGBTQ + community

We’re grateful to be able to offer this as a free space for our community.

For LGBTQIA+ people, stress often isn’t just personal. It’s layered. It’s collective. And it can quietly pull us away from the very practices and connections that help us feel grounded.

This retreat is about coming back to that.

Through a full day of guided workshops, reflection, and shared space, we’re creating an environment where you can reconnect with your mental health, explore what care looks like for you right now, and be in community with people who understand.

This day was created with intention. Not as a packed schedule or something to push through, but as an opportunity to pause—especially in a moment where so much is being asked of us.

The day is free to attend (registration required), and lunch will be provided.

Spots are limited. Please Register at the following Link: https://EqualityAllianceofChesterCounty.betterworld.org/events/we-heal-together-lgbtqia-mental

We talk about metastatic cancer! You never need to struggle alone. Help is near!

We talk about metastatic cancer! You never need to struggle alone. Help is near!

Twenty years ago, metastatic breast cancer (MBC) simply wasn’t discussed. While the broader community focused on early detection, Living Beyond Breast Cancer recognized a gap in support. In 2005, we conducted the world’s first survey to understand people living with MBC. The message was clear: People living with MBC needed reliable medical information, and, above all, each other.

Driven by these findings, LBBC launched the first in-person Conference on Metastatic Breast Cancer in 2007. Just as many celebrate a ā€œcancerversaryā€ to reflect and honor their journey, in 2026, LBBC celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Conference on Metastatic Breast Cancer this weekend.

As the medical landscape has seen great leaps forward, LBBC has remained unwavering in its commitment to supporting and educating the MBC community. Over two decades, we have welcomed more than 10,000 attendees to find expertise and connection at the Conference. Now, we invite you to connect with this shared history and hope you find inspiration for what the next 20 years may bring.

Learn more and join us in celebrating just a few of the remarkable changemakers who built on their advocacy work at LBBC and went on to have an outsized impact on the community. We hope their stories inspire you to make every moment count. https://bit.ly/3Qhkx61

Such truth!
04/14/2026

Such truth!

It can be normal to feel like anger is wrong, or something we need to rush to get rid of. The truth is that anger is a completely natural and normal part of grieving.

There is no rush to move through this emotion. There is no need to shame ourselves for feeling an understandable and natural emotion. Anger is a feeling, and feelings ebb and flow.
