Birthright of West Chester We provide free, non-judgemental support & love to pregnant women. We offer information and referrals to help clients meet their emotional and material needs.

Birthright is a non-profit, charitable organization that has been providing love and support for over 45 years to women facing unplanned pregnancies. We have chapters across the United States, Canada and Africa as well as a 24/7 toll-free HOTLINE. Birthright is supported by devoted volunteers and private donations and takes no government money. Birthright of West Chester was founded in December 1982 and has helped hundreds of women over our nearly 40 years in the Borough of West Chester. We continue to offer love, hope and support to women facing unplanned pregnancies and help make a realistic plan for her future and the future of her unborn child. Birthright treats each woman as an individual who deserves love and respect, as well as personal attention to her unique situation. Birthright services are always free, confidential and available to any woman regardless of age, race, religion, marital status or financial situation. The essence of Birthright is LOVE.

We have so much to be thankful for this year!!

And finally how blessed we feel to have had board members who have stayed committed and passionate about helping women and their children — one in particular who retired this year after 40+ years of service to Birthright. Him and his wife were also one of the couple who helped open the doors of our Birthright office in 1982. Thank you Jack and Mary!

We love when our moms stop by to get items for their babies and even better when they’re able to pick up something for themselves too!

Thanks to the Knights of Columbus of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish we have been able to give out brand new winter jackets to older siblings of the babies we serve for the last several years. This year, the Knights also generously donated a large box of brand new women’s coats for our moms 🙏🏻 We gave out 3 women’s coats just today!! Thank you Knights 🙌🏻 We couldn’t do what we do without you ❤️

Spent this past weekend learning from other Birthright chapters across the US, Canada and Africa for our annual International Convention held in Nashville 🤠

The theme this year was All You Need Is Love and it’s a great explanation for how our organization works. We’re not a medical facility and we don’t have degrees in counseling… What we do have is love ❤️

Love that stirs compassion for a neighbor, a sister, a daughter or friend who is facing an unplanned pregnancy or navigating challenges while parenting 🤰🤱

It’s love and friendship between fellow volunteers, the love and care that we have for our clients and the love that our donors have for women and mothers, ensuring our clothing and diaper shelves are always stocked 🍼

This love has supported thousands of women in our 40+ year history and has helped bring even more LOVE into this world 👶🏼👶🏽👶🏿
