Last week we had the privilege of baking War Cakes with our friends at Barclay House on Whiskey Road ❤️

This old-fashioned recipe, made popular during World War I and World War II when ingredients were scarce, is simple, rich, and full of history. Even without eggs, butter, or milk, it’s amazing how something so humble can turn out so delicious!

More than anything, it was the memories and laughter shared around the table that made it special. Moments like these remind us how food connects generations and keeps traditions alive.

There’s something special about moments that make people smile like kids again 🤍

Yesterday, Pathway Hospice had the joy of sponsoring a petting zoo at Shepherd's Care Assisted Living, with the sweetest animals provided by F & F Farms. From gentle cuddles to lots of laughter, it was one of those days that just felt good for the soul.

Experiences like this remind us how important it is to bring joy, connection, and meaningful moments into each day at every stage of life.
