Wow! The 2025 SERID Conference is coming next week! The committee members are excited to see everyone who will be attending this year in Atlanta, Georgia.

Pre-Conference Sessions and Workshops:

The pre-conference sessions and workshops will cover topics such as effective communication, advocacy, ethics and law, mental health and substance abuse, vocational rehabilitation and employment, education and transition services, and diversity and inclusion. How exciting! These workshops will help you gain a better understanding of how to enhance your professional skills in the workplace.

Agenda:

The conference agenda is now available in the Whova app. Please see the next post for instructions on how to use the Whova app.

Exhibit and Sponorship:

All exhibit spaces are full, following the hotel’s limits on the number of exhibit booths. The committee would like to thank all the exhibitors who will be joining us at the SERID Conference.

RID CEUs and CRCC CEUs have been approved!!!

RID CEUs
The SERID committee thanked Meghan Cowin for her assistance. Meghan is an Approved RID CMP Sponsor for continuing education activities.

This program is offered for 2.15 CEUs at the Some Content Knowledge Level, with the option to earn up to 0.975 PPO CEUs and/or 0.15 Legal CEUs.

Please note: the Legal CEUs overlap with the PPO category, so if you earn Legal CEUs, you can earn up to 0.825 PPO CEUs instead.

CRCC CEUs
The SERID Committee thanked ADARA for assisting in obtaining CEU approval from CRCC. There should be no need for CRCs to coordinate directly with ADARA, as reporting is self-service. However, if any attendees encounter issues, they may contact the chairperson, Ricky Alewine, at info@serid.org.

Out of the 19 total CEUs for attendees, a whopping 7 CEUs are ethics specific! Be sure to sign up for the Pre-conference as well to ensure you maximize your professional development opportunities.
For reference, in a 5-year renewal cycle, CRCs need to have 10 CEUs in Ethics (+90 general credits). By taking the preconference (5.5) and concurrent session (1.5) at SERID this year, they will be 70% done with those very hard to find CEUs in a single weekend. 🙂
