Today we celebrate the shy, armored introverts of the animal kingdom 🛡️🌍
Happy World Pangolin Day!

Pangolins look like someone tried to design a pinecone, an anteater, and a dragon all at once and absolutely nailed it. These gentle insect-eating specialists are the only mammals covered in scales, and when they feel threatened, they simply roll into a tight little fortress ball. No drama. No claws out. Just “You can’t see me.” 🌀

Sadly, pangolins are also the most trafficked mammals in the world. All eight species, from the forests of Asia to the savannas of Africa, face serious threats due to illegal wildlife trade and habitat loss. They don’t roar or charge or headline nature documentaries, but they need us just as fiercely.

Today is a reminder to:
