Randall Houston Nordan

Randall Houston Nordan, born April 27, 1987, in Columbia, South Carolina, passed away on February 10, 2026. He was the cherished husband and soulmate of Maeve Nordan and his life was a beautiful testament to love, family, and dedication.

Houston was a proud third-generation upholsterer, carrying on the family tradition at Nordan & Foster Custom Upholstery (Nordans Trim Shop) with passion and care. After graduating from Lexington High School, he honorably served as a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, completing his training at Parris Island Marine Base and MCCES Training at 29 Palms, California. His commitment to service and family was unwavering.

He was lovingly predeceased by his paternal grandparents, George and Ethel Nordan of Cayce, SC, and his maternal grandparents, Jonell Dickson of Lubbock, TX; Noel Dickson of Dallas, TX; and Billy and Rita Meeks of Garland, TX.

Houston’s heart was fullest with his beloved wife, Ida Maeve Nordan; his precious children Tinsley Faith Nordan; and Saylor Houston Nordan. He also deeply loved his bonus children, Addyson McCants, CJ McCants, and Jamey Wiggins. He is survived by his mother, Kathy Nordan Foster (Marvin Monts), and father, Randy George Nordan (Kerri Godfrey Nordan).

A true animal lover, Houston’s home was filled with the joyful presence of his dogs—Jippy Gem Bacon, Kali, Mildred, and Frank the Tank. He treasured the close friendship with neighbor Harrison Duke, sharing countless moments outside, laughing, chatting, and playing with the dogs. Houston’s warmth extended to his love of cooking on the Traeger Grill and the family adventures to Georgia, where he delighted in riding their side-by-side, affectionately named Bumble Bee.

Houston’s gentle spirit, boundless love, and generous heart touched everyone around him. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the joy, kindness, and love he brought into the lives of his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Big Red Barn, a local organization that supports veterans.
