Happy Match Day! 🏥

Lexington Health's Graduate Medical Education team had an exciting and celebratory Match Day today.

We are proud to share that all 10 of our Transitional Year residents successfully matched into categorical programs, including placements within our very own Internal Medicine residency program.

In addition, our Family Medicine residency program matched its 4th class of 13 residents, and our Internal Medicine residency program filled all 13 positions for its inaugural class.

Lexington Health proudly welcomes Brianna K. Brunner, MD, to its network of care at Lexington Health Eye Care Associates.

She joins the experienced team at this practice to provide comprehensive medical and surgical ophthalmologic care. She uses the latest technology to diagnose and treat eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye disease, diabetic retinopathy and refractive errors.

Dr. Brunner graduated summa cm laude from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, with a bachelor's degree in biology and earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She then completed an ophthalmology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, where she served as chief resident, and a cataract and refractive surgery fellowship at Hoopes Vision Ophthalmology in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Board certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Brunner is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Refractive Surgery Alliance and Women in Ophthalmology. She most recently cared for patients at Carroll Vision Center in Westminster, Maryland, providing cataract, refractive and minimally invasive glaucoma surgical services. Her procedural certifications include RxSight Light Adjustable Lens®, Glaukos iDose® TR and New World Medical Streamline®, among many others.
