It was a very fun 🤩 Friday full of smiles 😃 & laughter 😂!

We welcomed back pet visits from Miss Lily the dog (and her owner/volunteer Susie), we read aloud the Easter Story for Good Friday (thank you to Kate for leading), we had special neighborhood visits from The Easter Bunny 🐰 and the Easter Chicken 🐓(thanks to Beth for helping activity staff), and also celebrated April birthdays at the afternoon party 🎉 (thanks to Sarah for sponsoring the delicious chocolate cake)!

We gave birthday shout outs to the following residents celebrating 🥳 this month: Sandra B, Le S, Kevin B, Paul B, Dee M, and Ivan B and sang “Happy Birthday, dear friends!”

We wish everyone a safe and happy Easter weekend! While supplies last, staff, family members, and any interested visitors are invited to help themselves to a plastic egg (or two) from the cart outside Life Enrichment Director Michelle’s office. These eggs were stuffed with candy and “good job” messages from Arbor Springs residents at a social last week 🙌💕🤗!

Thanks to all the residents who joined Michelle & Andrea from Activities, along with Volunteer Judy, during the afternoon parachute 🪂 game-we sure got our arms moving 🙌 and the balloons 🎈, too!
Afterwards, we enjoyed an impromptu social 😋.

We also want to thank Jean Blum for providing music & massages to our interested residents in the TLane neighborhoods before dinner tonight.

Thank you 🙏 to Volunteer Peggy for leading our Catholic Communion & Rosary this morning. It was followed by a church service, cross crafting, and hymn singing 🎶 in The Cafe led by Chaplain Deb with Compassus Hospice. What a wonderful way to continue celebrating 🎊 Holy Week.

Happy April 1st! Mother Nature fooled us and we were NOT able to be outside today, but we are certainly looking 👀 forward to Courtyard Chats, as soon as the weather cooperates 🌞!

We want to extend a thank you 🙏everyone who attended our activities today! There was a very full “house” in The Cafe for Palm Sunday Service & hymn sing 🎶 this morning and then we gathered again in the afternoon to make salvation bracelets 🖤❤️💙🤍💚💛 for our interested residents, family members, visiting guests, and Arbor Springs staff.

Happy Saturday 3/28/26!
We had egg-stra fun 🤩 during our morning coffee ☕️ club social where we stuffed baskets of plastic eggs for Arbor Springs staff members (aka our egg-cellent employees)!

This afternoon, we gathered to celebrate 🎉 the National Holiday of “Something on a Stick Day”…and then residents, family members & staff had lively conversations while eating their “creations”!

We want to thank 🙏 our Therapist Izzy and Buck the dog for their pet visits this morning! It was a full circle of interested residents in The Cafe and we’re so very blessed to have staff willing to bring in their pets 🤗.

Our Tye Dye Friday activity was moved to the afternoon and we give shouts of thanks 🙏 to Life Enrichment Staff Michelle and Andrea, family member Jan, CNA Melvin, and the following residents for their help: Marilyn N, Joan M, Barb P, Vera V, and Jay O. Michelle will be making sure all the projects are dry before distributing them…
