Well, we have lots of residents ready to take their naps 😴 this afternoon or are busy visiting with their family members 🥰, so we will NOT hold a large group for Arbor Cinema at 2:30 pm, but instead encourage the Christmas movies to be on the neighborhood tv’s 📺 (we love ❤️ the Hallmark Channel this time of year)…

Thank you 🙏 again to the volunteers with Hammie’s Helping Hands for the additional Christmas gifts to residents.

And, a final congratulations 👏to DON Lisa for adopting the cats yesterday into their “furrever” home 🏠 , just in time for Christmas!

We have had a VERY busy week…

Tuesday 12/23, we had morning communion, opened cards from the pen pal program (from volunteers across the United States), wrote our own Christmas letter, enjoyed visits from Santa 🎅 (thank you to Suncrest Hospice), and held another session of Arbor Springs’ Book Club.

Wednesday 12/24, we had morning church ⛪️ service led by Michelle, hymn singing, egg nog served at lunch, several opportunities for eating cookies delivered to our front desk, and Arbor Cinema’s The Nativity Story in the afternoon.

Today, Thursday 12/25, we have celebrated Christmas Day with residents opening of gifts 🎁 in each of the neighborhoods, seeing family members, and having our pictures taken.

Wishing everybody a Happy Monday 12/22/25 from your Arbor Springs family & friends!

Christmas BINGO was very well attended this morning and we say thank you to all our Link Volunteers for helping residents enjoy four games!

Before lunch, Life Enrichment Director Michelle accepted a cart full of Christmas blessings (cards, stockings, and care packages) from volunteers of Hammie’s Helping Hands 🥰! These special goodies will be distributed to each resident on Christmas Eve.

This afternoon we gathered for another fun social and enjoyed eating the mini tree 🌲 cakes, listening to Christmas songs by CD favorites, sipping on hot cocoa, doing some color therapy, and also attempting a tree-shaped word search!
