That’s how it works for us too. We don’t wake up one morning suddenly healed, motivated, or certain. We soften first. We stretch. We let a little light in through the cracks we swore would never close.

And quietly, without asking permission, something shifts.
No announcements. No applause. Just the slow return of warmth to places that learned how to survive the cold.

We spend so much time believing change has to be loud to be real. That growth has to look impressive. That if we’re not blooming, we must be failing. But January tells a different story.

It reminds us that rest is not quitting. That waiting is not weakness. That the longest nights don’t get the final word.

The light doesn’t argue with the dark. It doesn’t rush it.
It simply returns, minute by minute, doing exactly what it was always meant to do.

Just like the sun returning in the dead of winter it takes time, but eventually, we notice.

Our family’s mission is to bring awareness and discussions about the stigma of su***de, support families and survivors who suffer mental illness and depression.
